This Special Issue marks the third collaborative edition of Artifact Magazine, featuring invited artist Lowbie. Following the magazine’s established structure, the issue unfolds through a visual interview and a collaborative thematic section. For this edition, Lowbie introduces the central theme: “Angels.” From this starting point, a shared visual landscape is constructed through the collection, transformation, and recomposition of images contributed by both Lowbie and DuGucciPourMonChat. Moving between protection and vulnerability, faith and fiction, innocence and unease, the publication approaches angels not as fixed symbols, but as mutable figures shaped by memory, mythology, internet culture, and personal projection. As with every issue of Artifact Magazine, images are altered through processes of pixelation, abstraction, distortion, and reassembly, creating new associations and transforming visual fragments into artifacts.
