Rosa Nuova is an original digital artwork created in 1999 by Don Xixio o DU.CA.t Laudicina, also known as Don Xixio, Xixio or simply X. Created during a period of artistic experimentation, this work reflects a journey of research, transformation, and renewal. Minted on the Solana blockchain in 2026, this NFT certifies the provenance of the original artwork and inaugurates the Stardust* Digital Archive, preserving a body of work created long before blockchain technology existed. For me, Rosa Nuova symbolizes the same spirit today as it did in 1999: the courage to experiment, to begin again, and to embrace every new technology as an opportunity for artistic expression. This is the first official NFT released from my digital archive, establishing a lasting bridge between my early digital practice and the decentralized future of digital art.
