This Special Issue marks the first collaborative edition of Artifact Magazine, featuring invited artist Manta Timing. The publication is structured in two parts. The first part is a visual interview composed of ten questions. Each question is answered using images only. No text, no explanation. These images are then transformed through pixelation, abstraction, and recomposition, creating a new editorial reading. The second part expands into a thematic section. Manta introduces the central theme : “Male Gaze”, from which a shared visual field is developed. Both the artist and DuGucciPourMonChat contribute images that are transformed and composed together, forming a collaborative visual environment. Each issue exists as a space where images are altered, reinterpreted, and reassembled. Blurring authorship, disrupting clarity, and turning visual answers into artifacts.
