This Special Issue marks the second collaborative edition of Artifact Magazine, featuring invited artist Heavenly Daze. Following the magazine’s established structure, the issue unfolds through a visual interview and a collaborative thematic section. For this edition, Heavenly Daze introduces the central theme: “Devotion.” From this starting point, a shared visual environment emerges through the collection, alteration, and recomposition of images contributed by both Heavenly Daze and DuGucciPourMonChat. Moving between intimacy, ritual, emotional fixation, admiration, and digital attachment, the publication explores devotion as both a personal feeling and a visual mechanism. As with every issue of Artifact Magazine, images are transformed through processes of pixelation, distortion, abstraction, and reassembly, blurring authorship and turning fragments of visual language into artifacts.
